Why do smart people play craps?

Craps is a game that cannot be beaten (with one exception see below). There is no strategy, no betting scheme, nothing that a player can do to beat the game. There is no math or logic that can make you a winne. So why do smart people play it? Or by definition, are all craps players dumb?

(The one exception is very controversial and that is dice setting or dice influencing, and since few people can do it, for the most part this does not affect the game.)
For me it's a no brainer. Play the pass line, throw some bones on the hardways and have fun. Rince and repeat.
Because it gives a chance for people with money to feel like they are playing a game on streets they would never walk on without a gun and armed guards?

Speak for yourself. (insert BJ joke here)
Virtually every casino game is in favor of the house. VP and Blackjack can be slightly in favor of the player assuming they play perfectly and don't get any heat from the house. Craps is one of the games with a very small house advantage, and is probably the most exciting game of all casino games. One would hope that they lose a very small amount when playing craps for a long period, and yet still have fun.

I'm a believer that dice setting can work. You don't need the setting of the dice to work on each and every roll. In matter of fact if you can see that the number 7 rolls only 5 times in every 36 rolls, instead of the mathematically expected 6 times, you will have shifted the odds slightly in favor of the player (assuming he or she doesn't make idiot proposition bets).
Do smart people play craps? I'm not aware of any pro craps players or anyone thats plays it on a regular basis. The few times I've watched the game, it seems most people bet the least favorable bets more than the better ones.
I have a craps system that will make you a winner. It involves a few special plays plus some inside information I have on the randomness of the dice used by casinos. I also know how to pick a hot table. One key to my system is that you should start doubling your bets if you are losing. You will win 80%-85% of your sessions using my system.
Oh, nice KayPea. Can you tell me what the "Special Plays" are for craps? I want to learn your fantastic system.

You don't actually believe what you just posted, do you? Inside information on the randomness of the dice used by the casino's? What the hell does that mean? Doubling your bets after losing is called the Martingale system. The Martingale has sent many gamblers to the poorhouse.

Since you win 80%-85% of your sessions, I guess you will never have to work for a living, right? Gimme a break!
