7:00 this morning we felt the strongest and longest (about a minute) earthquake in Oklahoma. It was surreal.

I told my wife about “the strongest and longest.” I said it was about an earthquake, but it pretty much describes me, too. She laughed.

Lots of people felt in in Dallas
Nothing to worry about. It's a total coincidence earthquakes are up substantially since oil companies started fracking.
Stay safe.

I have mixed feelings about fracking. It does help keep gas prices down and the U.S. energy independent. The flip side is the increase in earth quakes in Oklahoma. I did retire from an energy company and have a selfish interest in the success and expansion of the energy industry.

On the other hand it is only Oklahoma.

Oklahoma is feeling another earthquake down in Houston right now. Poor Sooners!
