win/loss statements

Just throwing it out there, why does Binions want a notarized signiture on file to get a win/loss statement but other casinos you can just log on into your players account and print it out?
How accurate have you found these. Some casinos I have found right on, some way over, and some way under. Slots seem to be close as they should be but table games are all over the place. Some show your buy in as your loss, some show what you leave the table with as your win.

Stations (GVR at least) used to require the notarized signature. Don't know about currently.

I just printed my mLife and Wynn statements. Both display a "letter" to download, fill out, mail in, etc. But both also, if you know how to navigate the site, have it right there to print out anyway. Now to get my CET print out.

I have to hide these from the husband, or he would faint and fall out at the (minus) numbers!

You got that right!!!!
I checked my win/loss statement from Caesars, and they are way off. They show me in the black, what a joke. Any suggestions on what I should? would it help to contact them?

Casino win/loss statements are notoriously inaccurate and the IRS tends to disregard them. If you were planning on using them to offset W-2Gs or 1099s, you may have problems.

When we lived in Western New York my father wanted to get a loss tatment from the Indian Reservation casino to offset his Vegas winnings. The host at the casino literally asked my dad what he wanted the statement to say. 20 minutes later that figure was in writing. That worked out pretty well =)
I was audited. I submitted only my win/loss statements. They were accepted as proof, no further information required.

Vegas28m, I haven't pulled my Caesars statement yet.
My mLife statement contains a phone number to call with questions.
My Wynn statement does not contain a phone number, but states "If you have any reason to believe that the information contained herein is incorrect, please advise Wynn Las Vegas immediately."

If your Caesars statement has a phone number, call now. Or call any number on the web site and tell them what you need. What they can do, I have no idea.
