Windows 10

My computer is currently running Windows 7 as the operating system and Internet Explorer 11 as the browser. I have a free copy of Windows 10 that I could download and use on my computer but I'm hesitant to do so because the computer is running great and I don't want to mess with it. My question now is there any significant advantage to using Windows 10 over Windows 7? If not, I'll just stick with what I have now. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
If it ain't broke don't fix it.
I was on the fence and decided to upgrade. Tried 2 times and the upgrade failed both times and no changes took place. Took that as a sign to leave well enough alone.

In a rare alignment of the stars, I concur with drmilled.
Microsoft says you have 30 days after converting to Windows 10 to go back to Win 7 or Win 8.1.
I upgraded from Win 8.1 since anything must be better than Win 8.1.
I like Win 10 over Win 8.1. I don't use IE, I use Firefox.

I'm still using Windows XP. Norton AV still supports it and I'll still get updates from MS. Until I get a new computer next year I'll continue to use it. Wife has Windows 7 on her "newer" PC and has no complaints. I use Google Chrome, haven't used IE in many years.

When I purchased this computer, IE was the default browser. At the time, my daughter was using Firefox on her computer and she highly recommended it so I switched over. At first Firefox worked great but as time went on it became slower, even with the upgrades. I switched over to IE and everything is back to normal. I'll take drmilled's advice and stay with what works (Windows 7 and IE 11).

Thanks to all for the help.
I upgraded from 7 to 10 for free and have had no problems. There are a lot of free extras that come with 10.
Windows 10 is fine....Also, has a new Browser that replaced Internet Explorer (Microsoft Edge)
Windows 10 is a BIG jump from 7.
Windows 10 needs a lot more RAM to run correctly."Ready Boost" is helpful.
Windows 10 is a very large download!
If you haven't tried/hated 8 or 8.1,there will be a steep learning curve.
Buy windows 10 for dummies book to help.
EI 11 is fine if that is what you are used to.(Edge)
I dumped Chrome a long time ago. Not stable and too weird with buggy quirks.
Firefox is great.
I went to Windows 10 from 7 to help my buddy who just got a new computer FOR THE FIRST TIME.
He can't even type,yet. Sheesh!
If you go to 10,leave the password area blank. You will thank me later.

IE 11 still runs in windows 10.

Type Internet Explorer in the "Search the web and Windows" box on the lower left of the screen, &
pin IE11 to the task bar.
