WinStar Casino (OK) reducing points for most slots?

My husband and I took a quick trip up to WinStar in Thackerville OK this weekend. We used to frequent this casino every month but have switched our play over to Choctaw in Durant since we really started winning there ($5 machines mostly).

We do enjoy the restaurants better at WinStar, and since we had to drive to Denton, a mere 30 miles away, we ventured north to WinStar.

I noticed right away that I didn't have any free play, which is reasonable, since my last trip here was six months ago (I still get the free buffet/free midweek room offer). I typically have $25 - $50 in free play as well.

I then noticed they have reduced their paytables on VP, which were pretty bad to start with.

Then I started noticing the small signs on every VP, $1, $5 and $10 slot we played "THIS MACHINE IS AWARDED LOYALTY POINTS AT A REDUCED RATE".

I am used to VP receiving less points, but really - all machines but penny machines seemed to have this notice. Penalizing $5 and $10 players? Seems like a risky - and unwise - decision. I guess they don't need the business.

Has anyone else noticed this from their local casino?
"unwise" business and marketing practices are widely practiced at most all casinos these days. I play mostly $1 and $5 slots at my closest casino and they reward me with nothing.
The 9/6 JOB video Poker games at the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami OK. has a sign that says no points are awarded on these games.
