Wonder what happened to Marc and Misti

"News Flash from the State of Nevada" Anyone thinking of moving here to work at a hourly job that pays less than $50.00 per hour stay home. We don't need you and we don't want you. Now if you have at least $1000 to piss away you can come,as long as your Ass is out of the state the second it's gone.

I didn't read the original thread, but judging from many of the comments on this thread, I can only assume the guy gave up a career as a senior partner in a law firm, or was a cardiologist at one of the Mayo Clinics before rolling the dice on a career in a restaurant??

Someone get LVCVA on the phone. I like both of these better than What Happens Here, Stays Here.

Now that was fuckin funny!! Also its very true...people can still come as tourists, but please, just leave your bankroll in the poker slots, and go on home already. LOL

This really, is no place to live!

Big stories in the news for the past two days are that people breaking into other peoples homes is on the RISE!

All those broke dicks that decided to "take the risk" and move to Vegas with nothing and failed, are now resorting to robbing other people and taking all their shit.

What has happened, now twice in the past 3 days is that the home owners/renters are defending themselves.

Two jive thugs got shot down, in seperate incidents, and killed by the occupants of the home, while trying to rob them. Story here

Finally the home owners are fighting back...gun sales are up and people are protecting themselves, because the worst is still yet to come.

Unemployment is at its highest ever, at a true 13% in Las Vegas.

People are resorting to crime, just so they can make it. Its a sad situation indeed.

Well there ya go...maybe Marc and Misti have turned to a life of crime. k
good post Rizzo

sadly unemployment is more like 20% in vegas

the reported number of 13.9% does not take into account those individuals no longer collecting unemployment and those that have given up trying to find work. Also not in those numbers are the dumb asses that still move to vegas thinking it is paradise (and following there dreams.....LOL)

lol...good one!
I don't agree with the comments about " at least they tried" " no guts no glory". Some things in life you can just see will not work even before going in head first. In my opinion anyone planning to move to Vegas needs a solid game plan and a realistic reason to want to move there. If you do decide to move to Vegas then if you don't take advantage of the things this city has to offer then don't come. I'm not so much talking about the gambling as much as the restaurants and entertainment. I have always found that after every vacation visit of some place new the thought always came to my mind that it would be cool to live there. This happened after my first trip to Las Vegas. I researched many things and came to the conclusion that Vegas was not for me. Take away the glitz, restaurants , entertainment and that freaking frozen custard place there is little left to want to live there. Crime is horrific, weather in the summer is horrific and traffic is horrific.
