Another dream squashed by reality. Well, then there's my dream of moving to Nashville and becoming hat act. I just know I can make it big with myice cream salesman voice and $500.00. LOL

Just because he lost the love of his life and his life's savings and moved back into his mom's garage at age 35 doesn't mean his life is ruined....depending on how you define 'ruin'. Ok...I'm a dill-weed...but you know what...If he hadn't gone, He'd always wonder if not going was the mistake of his life. Now he knows.


alanleroy is right. They had their minds made up and weren't really looking for sound advice as much as a confirmation of their plans. They didn't have kids or owned a home and he stated that he had family to fall back on. If he were ever to take a gamble, this was the time. Definitely would be a lesson learned!

BTW, isn't "MarcR" the same Marc as in Marc and Misti? Saw him posted on the paid side today. Guess he's okay if that's the same guy!

"I have a job transfer to a chain restaurant on in the NW part of town.
I also have a lot of experience in slot machine repair and maintenance, not to mention that I'm an excellent bartender (and waiter) and once I get out there, I'll get my 2nd job to save enough $$$ to be able to get an apartment while I'm looking for a house."

They were suppose to meet me and Chew Toy for a photo opt in front of Caesars this summer.... but they never showed or called.

I still have their cell phone number.

Maybe they:

Hit a big jackpot, took the money and went back home

Went downtown, someone spit on Misti's foot and went back home.

Freeloading living in the repo house next to Rizzo.

Marc is pimping Misti on the Strip.
