Wonder what happened to Marc and Misti

The hate is for the fact that they wanted advice, got good advice and when they didn't heed the advice, they failed. I don't think deep down anyone thought they would make it. I didn't even expect them to succeed on the drive from Fla to Vegas, so I was surprised when they actually made it to Vegas in one piece.

If your 35 years old and all your worth is $1000 you have no business even thinking about Vegas. Frankie Rizzo are you going to take being called a car parking jerk ?.

Why do you all have so much invested in these two? As far as I can tell, they're a couple who work in the service industry taking a chance on moving to Vegas. So what?

All I know is that I am 40 years old now, I made the leap to Vegas, with a back up plan, back when it made sense to do it, now I have a GREAT job, make good money, and have 6 figures in my retirement account.

I don't listen to assholes who tell me to do something that will cause me to lose my ass and go back home crying with my tail between my legs.

I am SMART enough to make my OWN decisions, and I don't need any dick-weeds, who are risking nothing, by telling me to "go for it" and take a huge risk with my money and my life.

If you are proud of the guy for listening to your bad advice and ignoring the truth...then go for it...keep on stroking him. Just use a damp towel to clean up when he is finished.


I am one of the few who actually cared for their well being, by telling him to stay put, and warning him of the impending disaster that was to come.

You "take a risk" people are low lifes...all you wanted was a front row seat to a train wreck...well you got what you wanted...now its on to the next unsuspecting victim...have fun!

No one who was cheering them on (a group that I'm not a part of) are low lifes who simply wanted to watch a train-wreck. It's jerky to describe those people as such. The only people celebrating this 'train wreck' are people like you.

I read the original thread but do not remember, did they ask if they should move, or did they say they already decided to move and wanted advice? Contrary advice to someone who's already made their mind up is not grounds for saying 'told you so.'

Also, isn't the entire history of the West comprised of people like M&M, those who came with meager possessions looking for a better life? Did not Columbus ride on fumes all the way to the new world? Did not a busty co-ed take a chance on a lanky Clark Griswold? I think so, and those greats who came before, the Columbus' and Griswold's, would not have listened to naysayers telling them to stay home.

What if Marc had decided to stay in Florida....and then he got run over by a Beer Truck....and lost his arms and legs? Boy, he would be wishin' he had moved to Vegas then. You just never know....although I imagine that if that had happened, someone would be blaming Rizzo.
