From another 007 flick:
You Only Live Twice – Nancy Sinatra
Pop Quiz Update
I’m thinking that the Pop Quiz idea isn’t working very well. Looks like folks may have been hesitant to post on the Word Association part of the thread if they didn’t know the answer to the Pop Quiz.
There is one Elvis song remaining to be identified. It’s from 1969:
1956 – Don’t Be Cruel (thank you, Don the Dentist)
1958 – Don’t
1969 – ?
Here’s a final hint for that song (borrowing heavily from Wikipedia):
This song takes place inside the mind of a husband and father whose wife (the mother of their children) is no longer present. It is not stated in the lyrics whether her absence is due to death, or some sort of marital separation or divorce. The characters in the song are the father, an unnamed young child, and an even younger child named Tommy.
Hopefully, this will help someone to identify the song but, if not, I’ll give it up a little later. Either way, the Pop Quiz will then be over, and we’ll be back to a straight word association thread.
