Hard to believe they sell enough refrigerator magnets to justify that price - but I guess they do

Makes it a lot easier when they probably pay a couple pennys on some kitchsy thing and sell it for 3 bucks, same principal as dollar stores. I agree, Fifty million does seem awfully excessive.

The value is the land, not the cash flow.

If they plan to put something else there, is there going to be a huge sale? How much can you cut the costs on junk that was already cheap?

An investor has eyed a big corner lot with much bigger plans than to sell ash trays and used casino playing cards.

I hope so. I stop in every few weeks and pickup a dozen or so items, and put them in my eBay store for three or four times the price.
I'd stock up on an 80% off sale.

Holy Cow seems to me, sold for a lot less....smaller foot print but what a difference a decade can make.

It's a pretty low rent neighborhood north of Sahara until you get downtown. Wedged in between the gift store and the Stratosphere is a complete slum of an apartment complex. I drive through it when leaving the Strat as it's a shortcut to get to the highway
