Worlds Worst Tenants (TV)

Anyone seen this show? SPIKE has been running a marathon today and I'm somewhat amazed at what they've shown. There was a tenant who had scores of roadkill in his apartment he was using for "art", (the odors wafted into all the surrounding buildings), a woman who had a full sized horse in a small house, (they had to tear out a wall to get it out), a guy who had a menagerie of reptiles including an alligator in the bathtub, and one guy who had taken one room of his apartment filled with bee hives and scores of other "unusual" situations.

Is this just normal for southern California?
I've watched a few minutes of them in clicking up and down with the whapper, but it never really held my attention. It seemed too staged for me which is surprising because I think the of the funniest episodes of judge Joe Brown( I know, I know, but I think it's funny, especially bad girls week) and to see the people sue to get their safety deposit back is absolutely hysterical.

I'll agree about the staged part, but it seems as though they are based on actual events. Its easy to understand the deadbeats and drug users, but I can't fathom how someone living in a large apartment complex could think it was acceptable to turn their 2nd bedroom into a bee apiary.
Worst "staging" show on TV for me is "Lizard Lick Towing"! It has gotten so far out of hand that you can pretty much believe nothing on it.

I have seen the "previews" but that it is it. Not sure if I will watch an episode or not.

And I thought Honey Boo Boo was the bottom of the TV well
