Worth visiting boulder highway casinos?

That grilled Monster Dog looks good.
I always visit Boulder highway. I rent a car while in Vegas, as I spend little to no time on the strip. I go there to gamble, and want more bang for my buck. I would take an afternoon and do a full casino run up and down the highway. The tiny little places along the way offer free play for sign ups or a free gift. It's a fun way to spend some time, but not if you are only there a couple of days. I recently stayed at Sams town a couple of nights, room was very nice, beds comfortable, video poker is worth the play, and a small poker room where the players were interacting and having a good time.
Thanks very much for the info and map. Must say, not keen on casinos where the rooms are in separate buildings etc... doesn't feel secure (But I'm sure they are, with security on site etc).

Sounds like Arizona Charlies might be worth a visit. I know they have good video poker there. I'm a slots and blackjack guy mainly, but open to any opportunity to gamble.

Thanks again for your help.
Thanks Snidely, both GVR and Red Rock look great online... but both are a way out from Vegas central (and whilst I'm there I'll be on buses and cabs). Can you recommend one of these over the other? Or are they very different in what they offer, and service levels etc?

Thank you Ric, useful info. Seems like I should check out your pool hall too! Kind regards. :-)
Thank you... $2.99 steak sounds good until you mention the gristle. Ewww. Probably better to get the $7.99 steak special at Ellis Island huh. Or the $7.77 gambler special at the Hard Rock hotel which is amazing value also. :-) Appreciate your tips, very useful.
Looks superb! Pity it's gone - but that would likely make my doctor happy... look at all the cholesterol, calories and fat I can't now ingest! One thing you can say about Las Vegas - it has the best of everything in the world available (albeit dependent on price). You're never short of good food anywhere in Vegas area.
Thanks Benue. Free play / gifts for signup always attractive if time allows. A quick coupon run of sorts - normally profitable from my experience, despite the time involved (which could be only 15 mins per casino).
My only Las Vegas royal flush was hit at Sam's Town.
Good to know. I have heard they have good video poker - but could just be coincidental.
