Would you stay for free at Circus Circus?

yes I would. I stayed there once, 10 or more years ago. I recall the standard rooms being larger than normal. if were to stay there now for free, I would try to tune out the kids, not gamble much, not eat the buffet. I might even ride a roller coaster and wander down the strip. so, yes I could deal with a few free nights there.
If they got rid of the resort fee maybe.
Whatever they're doing, they do it very well at CC. The place is packed. They know their demographic and please them. I would not commit to stay there for free for more than a day or two because I don't know what the rooms are like and I can only take Walmart for short periods of time. Since I'm on vacation, I'd rather pay more and stay at a classy joint like the Flamingo.
I would do 2 nights,not one.
If the place is full of 20-somethings,I probably would not play blackjack there. Craps? Yes.
Yeah,I would try some Midway games.
If the COMP waived the resort fee, totally.
The DTG did for me last year.

Not if I could get free rooms elsewhere.
No I would not.I get free nights at Boyd properties and would rather stay at one of them.

No. Unless it's changed since the last time I was in that casino. It pretty much smelled like urine and looked like a Detroit Wal-mart at 3am

That about sums it up for me.

We walked through CC about 3-4 years ago, depressing.

It seemed gray and empty and sad, but perhaps we missed happy hour or something.

Once upon a time it was a regular stop to play slots, watch the circus acts, then get a hot dog at Slots-a-Fun.

Right this minute, if somebody invited me to CC comped, I'd say no thanks.

I walk through it every time I go to that great steak house. I think of it as being dirty. When I stayed there about twelve years ago, there were children sleeping on the floor near their parents, who were playing the slot machines. This is supposed to be totally illegal, but there was no guard telling them to take the children away.

I don't know if they still have the circus acts and the carnival games upstairs. The breakfast buffet, which used to have legendary jokes about how bad it was, has improved to where it is passable.

I would NOT stay there for free. It is too isolated. There is no reason to be in that area.
I would in a tower room. I've paid to stay there, twice, but it's been about 30 years. While staying at the Circus Circus the first time, I discovered Let It Ride. The game was new back then. I was playing and sitting next to a guy who said he helped develop the game for ShuffleMaster. The dealer verified his connection to the game. He told me it was a game for losers. I hit a 4OAK while he was sitting next to me, all three bets live! I hit a second 4OAK the next day with 2 bets live! ....haven't hit another 4OAK since then.
