WOW. VCU (Virginia Commonwealth) beats Kansas and is going to the final four

They had to play a play-in game against USC and the NCAA selections committee was severely criticized for choosing them. This is the third 11 seed to ever make it to the final four. I believe this may be the first time ever where all four 1 seeds were eliminated before the final four.

VCU just made both Karen and I very happy.

What a nightmare for the sports books =)

Now its VCU against Butler...two teams that seem to play way above their talent level. I'll be interested to see the favorote and the spread.

Maybe they aren't, PJ, maybe, just maybe, both those teams are really that talented.
I think this is great. Of course, I'm biased...UConn to take it all!

Must admit there's a part of me that is happy to see VCU do so well - especially being a "play in" team and the controversy to get to that point. However, the Kansas loss knocked m out of the office pool worth $170. I lost by one point! GRRRRR!!! Going into Sunday, I thought the $$$ was mine. Congrats to the Rams though!

You are correct. However it is the first time that no No. 1 or No. 2 seeds made it to the final four in the same year.

Butler is pretty good, they were in the finals last year. They were an 8 seed, they seem to get up for the big games. Liked that they eliminated Florida! yes!

Butler vs Kentucky in the finals and Butler can win this game, Wildcats have 3 very very good freshman.
Walker from UConn is probably the best player left on these 4 teams. When he decides to take a game over he does just that!

One thing for sure, about 95% of the brackets out there are busted. Even Obama the wise had his brackets blown away.
