Wynn offer....what would you do???

OK, after reading all this fabulous stuff about Wynn, I decided to register my red card online. It was a hassle, because I have dial-up, but I got it done. Here's MY fabulous offer:

Receive 25% off Resort Rooms at Wynn Las Vegas or Encore when you make your reservation 60 or more days prior to arrival.

Available on select dates.

Geez, $10 off a buffet would've made me happy.

I had considered booking the Encore for part of my November trip. My offer consisted of up to 3 comp nights plus $300 freeplay if you stayed 3 or more nights. Called to book it, but only 2 of the 3 nights I needed were still open for the comp offer. The charge for the one that couldn't be comped was $149 +tax. Still not bad, so I decided to book it. Then the reservation agent mentioned that because I had a paid night, the resort fee of $20 would kick in. Hmmm...ok, so $169 for the one paid night. Still not too bad. But wait - the res agent then stated that booking the paid night meant the resort fee kicked in for ALL 3 nights! This was the kicker - if I had been able to book all 3 nights on the comp offer there would be NO resort fee at all, but because I was going to pay for one night ALL 3 got saddled with the $20 fee. At that point I decided to take a pass on it since there is nothing included in the resort fee that I even want - I don't use the fitness centre, don't use internet and don't want/need free local/ld phone calls. While I know that $209 is still a good price for 3 nights at the Encore, I was not happy with the resort fee being added to the free nights as well as the paid one. So I called my Venetian/Palazzo host and he got me my comped rooms at Palazzo & $500 freeplay instead for those 3 nights - and no resort fees.
Hee, congrat on the great score at the P/V for the comp. The vibe at the V/P is way better than W/E. If I go solo I will book at Venetian because if I am wasted I don't need a long walk to the room. But if I go with my fam I will book at Palazzo for more laid back. Anyways they are great hotels if you DO NOT pay for it.

Good Luck on your trip and Have a Great Time
I received a summer offer of 3 comp nights and $300 FP on Sun/Thurs

My trip was Thurs/Mon...so I had my host book 3 free nights with promo and had to pay $149 for 4th
inwhich the host said could be comped based off of play

I, like the other poster had to pay resort fee on all 4 nights, now I understand why...I just didn't argue with them about it. I also will mentioned we upgraded to a higher level view room ($25 more per night)

ended up getting all 4 nights comped, but had to pay the resort fee,....host took care of $100 upgrade and additional $350 off for food & beverage

I was happy with this

Prior to this trip, I got ahold of host about another planned trip in October....inquiring about pricing...much to my surprise...she offered me 4 comp nights-with no resort fee. If I get any other offers with free play, she will add it to my reservation

Just last week, hubby suggested NYE trip...I booked airfare...and once again contact host about room rates....not expecting free here...pricing on the website was running over $1600 for Fri/Tues NYE stay...Host got back with me 2 days later....4 nights comp! I was very shocked...but estatic...book it!!

Never have I received more than $300 FP on a red card promo....I am jealous!! I hope to get other offers to add to my reservation!

I love Wynn...and I love free even more! for me there will be no thinking about where to stay, when I have an awesome host at Wynn!

good luck all

Mickey

horsesrus1....you mentioned going to the red card site and you saw the promo you received also on there

there is no red card site that you can view your offers, or points, like Mlife and HET....all I see is new card sign up's

So what were you looking at? just curious

Wynn notes something about confidentiality...not able to disclose...but you can go to the Red Card desk and inquire about this information
I, too, was unaware of the red card site, until I read this thread. But I was able to find it and able to create an online account using my red card. I did need to call Wynn (toll-free) for help in establishing an online account, because my e-mail address had never been attached to my account before.

After I was registered, I quickly found my existing offer, the once in a lifetime, stupendous.....

Receive 25% off Resort Rooms at Wynn Las Vegas or Encore when you make your reservation 60 or more days prior to arrival.

Available on select dates.

From Wynnlasvegas.com main page click on red card. Scroll down and click on "click here" to sign up for red card. Put in your username and password (register for that if you haven't already) and you'll come to a screen with promotions, account/profile, contact info and my casino account (you can see your current point total here).

The only promotion currently being offered to me is the same as NM, 25% off if booked 60 days in advance. Before I booked it earlier this year, the offer I redeemed for free suite, free play and f&b was on there. They also sent me a letter thankfully because I never had a reason to check my Red Card account.
good to know...I am going to try this and let you how it works for me
Well got on and registured okay....I then get an email saying I requested changed my email to my husbands email address...WTH....

So I went in to edit and correct email back to mine...then the system locks up and registures some issue

So I saved the info on calling them and make sure it stays on my email...didn't get how it even did this? My information looked fine...

Anywho...good to know to look at offers and points available...

my offer is only early booking....sure glad my host booked me 4 free nights for both October and for NYE....I was just hoping for some free play money...like $1000...

I wonder when you go through a host...does red card club quit sending you promo offers?

anybody know how that works?

appreciate the feedback,

Mickey
