Actually she's known about it for a few years. And she was very much aware of the reasons why she acquired it. And she continued to peddle her diabetes-casuing recipes anyway. I'm tempted to find contempt with her...but I dont know. I'm sure she's a nice lady.

Dave Thomas, the founder of Wendy's, was probably the nicest guy God ever put on the planet. He ultimately died of a heart attack after years of eating his own hamburgers. Sorta the same thing, I guess.

Maybe pj is trying to say if Dave Thomas had not succumbed to liver cancer eventually a burger laden diet would have killed him. Or maybe not.

I guess its not the same thing aterall...so i conclude that Paula is a deep-fried-bacon-wrapped fritter pushing biatch.

ummm,i can. I have the cholesterol of a 5 yr old,low sodium and it's hard for me to gain weight no matter what or when i eat it. I can salt ,deep fry,butter and anything else i want. I have to watch fluids tho,well,because on dialysis. Oh,i do have to watch potassium,but thats easy.

One of my fav brekkie snadwiches at home (or midnight snack) is 2 steak-ums,fried egg or 2 with yolk only half cooked,2 slices cheese between 2 toasted and buttered(sometimes real) slices of texas toast. Side of hash browns goes great with it if i feel like cooking them as well.

I've never seen her show so help me out. Did she ever promote her food as harmless? If not, I don't see what the problem is. I think we all know what is healthy food and what isn't. Do you have the same disdain for beer and alcohol promoters? Habitual drinking of a toxin like alcohol is at least as harmful to the body as habitual eating of unhealthy foods.

I take much more exception to con artists like Oprah Winfrey who paid people to monitor her 24/7 so she can lose weight and attribute it to some book she's promoting which ultimately rakes in millions of dollars for her. She probably didn't read half those book she promoted through her book club either.
