Yanking comps from HIGH ROLLERS

The definition of "High Roller" is going to vary property to property. I've never seen any numbers applied to it, other than the fact that it's someone who risks significant amounts. I'm sure that in the past at LVS, you could be full RFB and not be a high roller in their eyes. From what I've read, it sounds like they want to concentrate on the whales and the tier just below. Again, it's all subjective, so what the hell do I know!

Good Luck!

knagl, youre wrong.

A comment was made about "high rollers." I want to know what constitutes a "high roller" who had comps yanked.

I never said these people didnt deserve their comps. There is no way in hell I could know if they deserved comps or not.

The only people who could decide if these folks deserved their comps is the marketing dept at LVS.

My point in the original discussion was that LVS appears to have shifted its marketing plan for business and convention business. don't blame me for their decisions.

I already answered your question in the last thread. If you want a more definitive answer, then call the Venition as has been suggested multiple times in this thread.

Or is this thread really about being a boorish troll and harassing the women on this site?

Perhaps they abused the comp system and were not entitled to the comped rooms? Super weekend is one of the busiest in vegas and it wouldn't surprise me if management could not extend extra comps to someone who really didn't deserve them.

Read the original post again. this person is complaining that they were told that their comp was withdrawn but they could pay a casino rate. This happens when players do not meet their expected play levels and lose their comps.

Chef, Sue... as chef summed it up: "according to the LVRJ article, they dropped comps for everybody EXCEPT their top teir folks."

there ya go. Im not saying its "polite" but clearly this guy didnt have the action that warranted comped rooms or the accommodations he wanted.

So, no one has a figure for what is a "high roller" at the LVS properties?? How can you complain about "high rollers" getting their comps yanked without knowing what a high roller is?

I think most of us were offended that ANYBODY had their comps yanked at the last minute. Who cares about "high rollers"??? I think if an offer is extended and accepted it should be honored, especially within 24 hours of arrival. There are expenses like airline tickets, car rental, etc. that were subsequently paid for by players that expected V/P to honor their offer.

You seem like an ego-maniac. You keep asking what a "high roller" is at the V/P to see if you are worthy of that status at their property. If you already knew you were, then you wouldn't be asking. You keep tasking, not asking, when you desire information. Nobody here works for you or cares about you Alan.

Even if you were sincerely interested in the "high rollers" having comps yanked it is sad that you don't ask about the other effected players. I guess you only care about the rich....

this is my favorite moneyla related post.

RizzoJr, you (and Im trying to be polite here) are missing the point.

In the original discussion there was no mention of "high rollers."

In a later post, jenaphir said "HIGH ROLLERS" had their comps yanked. I asked for her definition of a high roller.

So far, jenaphir has refused to answer.

Please read ALL of the excerpts jenaphir posted above... there is NO mention of high rollers. Jenaphir has raised a new issue... that being... high rollers getting their comps yanked.

Until Jenaphir tells us what the definition of a high roller is, we can't really discuss this, can we?

Yes, it is unfortunate that others had their comps yanked. But the discussion is now about "high rollers".

edited to add: Rizzo, I dont play at the LVS properties which is why I ask what a high roller is there. If you go to the casino at Jean Nevada with $500 theyll probably give you high roller treatment at their $2 craps table.
This is so fucking stupid...
