It never really got any easier, even after a year or so planning and mentally preparing oneself for it. Then the call comes and you have to get up and go because now the seconds are ticking. Luckily you make it in time, the entire family is waiting on you. The equipment is unhooked and all the sons and daughters gather 'round the bed. just like he wanted. Waiting. Then he goes...into a much better place. He was one of the most loved and respected men I've ever known, G'bye Dad.
