Yet Another Reason to Oppose Wal-Mart

Who'd've guessed the demand for Preparation H - in the 1 oz tube, the 2 oz tube, and the 12 count, ummm, . . ahh, count - is so high among the criminal element?

DonDiego is just a mite curious how long ago the list was compiled. And he'd prefer to see such a list by frequency or quantity of theft, not just three-alphabetical-segments.

'round here in Appalachia newspaper accounts relate tails of folks jes'ta runnin' and pushin' their buggies, . . . they calls "shopping carts" "buggies" hereabouts, . . . loaded with big-screen TVs past the Wal-Mart greeter. Or sometimes stories of big-bootayed gals hidin' electronics or foodstuffs about their umm, . . . big bootays.

That’s called foreplay.

I once saw a gal stuff what looked like a five gallon purse full of breaded chicken tenders at the Horseshoe Diamond lounge in Southern Indiana. I know a guy that’s is a retired CPA and has a ton of money that stuffs as many cookies as he can in his coat pockets on his way out the casino buffet every time he goes. He usually gets at least a dozen. Upper class people steal stuff too they just don’t call it stealing when they do it.
The true test of a persons character and morals is how they behave when they think no one is watching. By the way, I , for one, will be glad when you guys (and you know who you are) stop your whizzing contest and get back on topic.
At least we now know what it is that has been trickling.

Malibber, although it may not have seemed so, I am on your side. I concur that many in the middle class have been duped by cons into taking positions which harm them. But I do not find that to argue that point does any good among those same deluded individuals, who seem to be in the majority here on the freak side.

May I also opine that the lower, middle and upper classes are ALSO duped into illegal activity by the lower class. Cases in point:

teenage gangbangers in Suburbia immitating their bretheren in the city

OR

Illegal Aliens coming to America to immitate their relatives working for sub-minimum wage

OR

Suburban drug users going to the Ghetto for their fix

People who lack morals point to the bad behaviours of others or try to blame the system to justify their own bad behaviours. Its not a class thing --- but more a lack of class (or morals).

DonDiego can say without fear of contradiction that he behaves exactly the same when no one is watching, . . . so long as no one was, in fact, watching.

Hmm, . . . since the discussion got to page 2 of this thread, DonDiego thought it has been quite civil.

I am sorry I am not trying to be argumentative. I still cling to the belief that someday people will wake up and realize they have been conned.

Ah, but does the universe behave the same when DonDiego is not watching?
I know this realization happened for some during the recent Bush administration, and is also likely to happen for others during the current administration. I just question my ability (or anyone's) to make it happen in another person in such a place as this forum. There is also the matter of what beliefs will replace those formerly held.
Blame the drug companies too..... Should Visine cost $11.99 for a 1/2 ounce?

Wake Up! People are stealing medications not joy riding... they are mainly taking what they need but can't afford.
