You can't make this stuff up

Idaho Rep. Vito Barbieri (R) asked a doctor testifying before the House State Affairs Committee whether a woman could have a remote gynecological exam by swallowing a tiny camera.

Apparently Representative Barbieri is a proponent of thinking outside the box.

And these are the ignorant bastards that want to run this country.

This reminds me of the media "hit pieces" on Bill O'Reilly and Scott Walker this weekend. These tactics are not working as the American people are seeing through them and wising up.

As Paul Harvey used to say...."And now the rest of the story":

Idaho Press Article

“(The doctor) made the point that you could swallow a camera and from thousands of miles away, you could detect the state of that colonoscopy … My question was then, are you saying that you can swallow a camera and get the same results? Which is of course rhetorical,” Barbieri told Russell. “But she responded that of course you can’t swallow a pill and have it end up in your vagina. So my point was made. The point is that just because a colonoscopy is more dangerous and can be done from a distance, doesn’t mean that you can examine a woman at such distances, with a camera or anything else.”

The Republican "war on women" is a myth created by the media. The REAL real war on women is the people defending Bill Clinton's office escapades with interns 20 years younger and his flights on private jets to private islands with known pedaphiles.

That was his explanation for it several hours after the fact when it got out in the press. I will also point out his belated explanation makes no sense whatsoever. It was just the best he could come up with after making an ass of himself.
Liberals can, and do, make stuff up like this all of the time.

Ooh, thanks for the link! From your article, here are some more gems from Idaho Republicans:

In 2013, Republican Rep. Ron Mendive drew audible gasps in a committee when he asked if the American Civil Liberties Union-Idaho’s pro-abortion stance also meant they supported prostitution. A year prior, Republican Sen. Chuck Winder drew national criticism after he suggested on the Senate floor that a doctor should ask a woman who says she was raped could have been caused by “normal relations in a marriage.”

Bill Clinton flew to a private island with Ted Nugent?!?

Better yet Boiler can listen to this guy's own words in the Video.

Note the shock in the doctor's voice and the laughter at this guys ignorance.

The good news is Scott Walker offered this guy a job teaching anatomy at the University of Wisconsin.
