I got my first RF of the new year on Weds. at Treasure island in MN. Held the TJ of diamonds playing dollar OEJs. Overall I only lost about $300 of it in over 12 hours of play so a good two-day trip.

No,Jan.01,2000 was the first day of the new decade and the new millenium and Jan.01,2010 is the first day ofthe second decade

RR is correct. Decades *officially* start on the 01 year (milleniums as well). There was no year 0000. However, most people do use the 00 value so I'd say you are both right as long as you specify your meaning. For example, the decades of the 90s would start on 1990 for most of us.
