Rick, you are a glutton for punishment, aren't you?!?!?!? LOL

I had my first of the year yesterday (1/2) at Ellis Island. Dealt a flush in hearts with four to a RF on 10 play in quarters and picked it up on the first line. I was hopefully as the remaining hands were slow rolled that I could be lucky enough to catch a second one but it wasn't meant to be.



About five hands later I was dealt another four to a RF but couldn't catch anything.

The good news for me is that our side bet is that the first RF of the year gets a year long pass on any housekeeping type responsibilities. Barb is searching the internet for Merry Maids or equal. LOL

I'll cherish this moment for as long as I can as I fully expect to finish behind her by the time we close 2011.

Happy New Year and thanks for undertaking this monumnetal labor of love.

Seriously, congrats to both of you on your 2010 royals, great work.
Carol and I just booked a June 2-9 LV trip.....so long to wait.

This might be the one and only time, all year, that I will be "tied" with Dan or Omallaey on royal count.....

We didn't have much of a gambling budget....we kinda just wanted to get out of the house for a little bit.

I had some FSP on my card at M-resort, and LF did too.

I started with winning 80 bucks on my FSP after quad fives and quad nines on a 25 cent BP machine, and LF lost hers. I gave her 20 and I played 20, we both played on a 4-card keno machine (quarters) and we both lost.

40 bucks left, and I was NOT about to hit the ATM machine...I told her that we HAD to win with these last 40 bucks!

She played single line keno, and I played extra draw keno. Well she went broke pretty quick, and I made 40 out of my 20 bucks.

I cashed out and went to the change machine to get my 40 bucks, so I could give her another 20.

I made a stop over at the bathroom to take a leak, and while I was there...I kept thinking...what the hell should I play now? More keno? more Poker?

Not sure what came over me, but I came up with quarter DDB as my decision...a game that I do not normally play when on a fixed or limited budget.

I gave her a 20 and I put my 20 into the machine and flipped over to the DDB game.

The VERY FIRST HAND OUT.....was A-J of spades which converted to a ROYAL FLUSH!!

It truly scared the pee out of me....the machine was kinda loud, and it was set to the fastest speed, which I never play ...I am usually low to mid-speed.

When I held those two cards, and hit deal/draw, and the 3 cards showed up really quick, and the machine started counting up 4000 credits really fast, I didn't know what to think!

All I said was HELL YEA!!!

I played off the remainder of that $20 and cashed out $1000 bucks even!

What a night!!

Wat to go Frankie, did you notice that your royal was seque...sequent...oh, heck, I mean in order A K Q J 10.

Hit another progressive at Firekeepers in Battle Creek, Mi. for $1125. I held the jack & king of spades and filled in the rest. I have a picture on my cell phone but have to figure out how to transfer it to the computer. That is 2 hits in the last 2 months for me. After soooo long between royals it seems pretty darn good...............Rick
