Jenaphir, LMAO!

Money, I know I'm going to regret this but.....

I don't keep track of hands played. I do however keep track of coin in and machine denom so to come up with a pretty close approximation isn't too difficult. Some of these plays are on Quick Quad and STP machines which require a 6th coin. I'm not going to take the time to segregate these so the number of hands are actually less.....by how much is too time consuming to say. There is also a lot of multi-line play which given a choice and opportunity is my preference as it takes some volatility out but doesn't affect the theo return.

Through May 18th which is the last day for which I've recorded play, I calculate 932,445 hands. I've had 22 RF's during this period. That's a RF every 42,384 hands. I've never did this exercise before and it's pretty interesting to me that this is pretty close to approximating the statistical norm.

For this same period, I have approximately $936K coin in which means it's about $1/hand or $.20 average denom. This means primarily quarter play with enough nickle play thrown in (I'm guessing about $160K) to slightly lower the average. This goes a long way in explaining why it's been 15 months since I've hit a dollar RF.

#3 for the year. Went to the bar to get a good drink (hence the terrible paytable) and got this as a bonus!

thanks Dan. so by getting a royal every 42-thou hands or so you are not having extraordinary luck. (I guess Im just having extraordinary bad luck... lol) well, good for you!
Dan, how the heck do you play so many hands? I guess I would be right up there also if I lived in Vegas or similar gambling venues.

By preference, we play multiline machines. Silverton as you know has 100 play machines that we're at for one strong day of play each month. That play is approximately 17% of my YTD play which influences the numbers. The majority of our other plays are 5/10 plays.

It just works out to be a lot of hands at a relatively low denomination. I never thought to have a look at this previously until Money asked earlier.

As an aside, I know that this is a thread where you post your successful RF's but I had a hand today that will take me a day or two to get out of my system.

This is an Aces & Eights game that's .50 denom single line with a progressive for the sequential and regular RF. The sequential is worth $40K! I'm playing along and get dealt this hand:

The A of hearts....a 47-1 shot is worth 16K:1 if I convert it.

I've had sequential RF's before but never on a machine where it mattered so to be honest, I never really paid too much attention.

Rick, sorry for taking this thread on a detour. I promise we'll resume the normal programming upon your return!

Dan

#4 this year at the fabulous Forum garage path casino at Caesars Palace last Thursday.

I let the whole 4005 credits tick away. Not one person even looked at my perfect hand ! Cretins !

FINALLY A $1 RF!

I'm figuring that this was my consolation prize for not getting the sequential the day before. $4K ain't $40K but I'll take it!

Rick, should make it 23 YTD.

Dan
Way to go Dan and Barb,

Drawing three cards to royal on back-to-back days? I am impressed Barb! You made Dan's dealt four to a royal for $4,000 look like a regular day at the office. Lol

Keep those machines hot until we arrive next month!
