Its always been about royals....penny ones included, and not about some blowhard who dumps over 4 grand in one sitting trying to inflate his ego about wins and losses compared to others.

Not sure what he is trying to prove...but changing this contest to his suggestion would be retarded.


BTW...congrats to Dan and Barb...pictures would be nice....a story behind those royals would be nice too.

I would like to thank you for your time and hard work in monitoring this thread as well as keeping track of this competition. Ooops, CONTEST. I meant to say "contest" and my backspace button is broken.

Congrats to all that have had royals so far in 2011, and may you have many more.

Regardless of what others may think, say, or do, IF they even bother too think, I find this thread to be useful, entertaining, and a good topic for the forum. It's nice when there is little on no contentious messages posted that are obviously and patently designed to insight ill will, insult, or belittle other forum users.

We are all here for a good time, not necessarily a long one.

We are just two of the many who appreciate your time and effort in keeping this thread going and everything straight.

It's true that frequency of royals is a function of time played. Also, we do play a big day once a month at a casino that has 100 play machines so this once again has a tendency to skew the number of royals.

If I recall correctly, Jon (sionow) had a dealt RF on a 100 play machine about two years ago. That would be a hard total to compete with if your primary play is single line machines.

Anyway, I never viewed this as any kind of competition...just a fun place to post vp porn, tell a story and take a friendly jab at friends. To be honest, I'd be happy to never hit another RF if I can be assured of making a 1/2% of profit on my coin in each year.

Frankie, I have pics of all of these but some technical issues in getting them posted. First, my primary laptop charger is DOA and I have to replace it today. That's where my Outlook account resides and getting these pics uploaded to photobucket and then onto this site while doable is a PITA. I should have this resolved today and be back in business within the next day or two. No great stories behind any of these. In fact, the more interesting story is that I got dealt 4 to a RF on a 100 line machine and pulled 0 royals! Now, that's a story and one that I hope I don't have to repeat ever again! I did score my 4 on the sister machine to this the following day and was dealt a 4 to a royal flush and picked up 4 RF's to even out the odds.

Wow Dan six royals already this year. That's more than my entire lifetime LOL.

Congratulations and I hope you hit many more as well as everyone else.

Hopefully on my next trip I can add to the totals.

There has previously been a suggestion to have a thread to report W-2G amounts. Of course MoneyLA would win that even without hitting any royals!

If such a thread were to be started, it should be managed by Ryder...who came up with the idea.

Starting off the new year with 2 RF's. Both at the Red Rock on the $DDB machines. First was a 3 hold and the 2nd was a 4 hold.

Its going to be a great year!
