Love the lobby bar at The Mirage..Good bartenders make it a great place..
Now that American Fish is RIP and Red Square has slipped dramatically, I will need to think about this one.
Aureole at Mandalay Bay- Daily from 5:30 PM - 7 PM discounted drinks and $8 small plates
Twin Creeks Steakhouse at Silverton - Wed-Sat from 5:00 - 6:00 PM and 9:00 -10:00 PM 50% off Happy Hour
Rhythm Kitchen off strip- Daily from 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM 1/2 price drinks and discounted Hungry Hour menu

You are asking for favorite Happy Hour or bar.

While the drinks are as expensive as any place in town, the chandelier bar at the Cosmopolitan is a must for me on every trip.
Kpwcchs, what does it cost for a good drink in this bar? When I say "good drink", I just mean a good and strong Vodka tonic? Thanks.

Where was American Fish and Red Bar? I've been hanging downtown lately.

The Mob Bar can be great depending on the entertainment. I keep an eye out for when Yvonne Silva plays there. I love her act.

The Fireside Lounge (peppermill) is a must whenever I bring someone to Vegas for the first time. Big drinks with umbrellas in them sitting in that firepit that looks like something salvaged out of Studio 54.

American Fish was at Aria. Red Square is at Mandalay Bay.
PJ, I'm making my first trip to the Fireside Lounge on August 29. I have a "lower body injury" (hockey talk) and won't be golfing with my friends.........unless I recover is sooner than expected, so one of my friends is going to join my for a field trip..........about noon at the Fireside, then lunch at Lotus of Siam, and then we'll spend some time on Fremont. Maybe we'll check out the Mob Bar.

Our other friends will leave the hotel about 12:00 to play golf, and we don't have dinner reservations at Carmine's until 8, leaving the two of us plenty of time to get in trouble. I considered a rental car, but decided with my drinking habits in Vegas it's best to stick with the Taxi drivers.
