What I am getting at, is you could hit 1 RF right now you would be ahead as opposed to someone who has played the same amount of hands at a lower rate.

VP return is determined by the paytable and has nothing to do with denomination (unlike most slot machines).

Thanks, I see what you are saying. I don't play many slots either, that is why I am confused.

Arc... when you had your missing streak of 208,199 (and I assume you were playing your positive games) were you still showing a profit for your play?
Back to Rincon Sunday night... now more than 76,000 hands played this year and still no royal. But I did get quad aces three times at bonus which kept me playing for about six hours with a modest gain on the night.

was dealt 4 to the royal twice with a dealt flush both times and on the draw got two flushes, so Im improving.... at least Im getting something on the draws.

Keep in mind these were failures at hitting 4RF. I still had RFs during these periods although a little below expectation. As for making a profit, yes I won money both years I had these streaks although a little less than the years without them.

Arc, let me get this straight: you missed getting a royal when you had 4 to the royal more than 208-thou times???

Two reactions:

1. so much for the odds of 1/47

2. you counted?

Hilarious ... two streaks ... one was 208 and the other was 199 attempts.

You can do it Mike Portnoy.

My tier score has just been updated reflecting my Sunday night visit. Ive now played at least 77,752 hands and I figured that based on my $5 play. When you figure that sometimes I play $1 vp and multi hand 25-cents (usually ten handed) plus add in one short session at a non Caesars hotel, Ive played much more than 77,752 hands.

Arc I am amazed by the number of times youve been dealt four to the royal and failed to draw the royal card. How many hands of VP have you played in your life to have a run of more than 208-thousand four to the royals without getting the royal card? Maybe in my entire LIFE Ive had four to the royal 200 times.
Isn't he saying he's gone 208 times drawing to a royal before success? Another time he went 199 draws at four to the royal before success. Anyways, if you're like me playing different machines each week or even every day if you are switching machines you could go forever without hitting a royal. Just hitting the wrong machines at the wrong time.
Oops. I didnt "read" it that way. LOL. When I see this:

"I suspect money has a long way to go before he reaches either one of my missing streaks (208,199)."

I read it as 208-thousand and 199.

but my other question still stands... Ive had 4 to the royal maybe 200 times in my life. How many hands of VP has Arc played? And I have hit a royal with 4 cards dealt.
