Hey MD, what does "IBTD" stand for?, seen used on occasion here and all I keep thinking of is I beg to differ

I had a teacher in high school who always said that(great guy) so I can't get past that,I'll probably feel really dumb when you tell me.

In Before The Delete

Going back a few years, when threads were getting zapped on the FFA at an amazing rate, some poster came up with that "IBTD" as a quick way of posting on a contentious thread (without actually adding to the hostilities) before AC and company deleted the offending thread.

Once in a great while, they would just LOCK the thread instead of deleting.......now it seems that deletion is the standard rule.

A-ha and yep feel kinda stupid, that's painfully obvious now haha.

I wish they would just lock a thread instead of whacking it entirely, oh well hopefully a new place will be installed so's folks who are going to talk have a place to do so. I guess some threads do deserve the axe completely I suppose.

I purposely used that word even though it isn't a word. Yes I know "monotonous" is proper but you have a monotoe type of style in your writing. I can totally understand why you shunned in social circles.

That still doesn't mean you don't have a monotone kind of style to your writing. I'm sorry that you are shunned. Maybe if you went out and tried to get a personality, you would make new friends.

Maybe the word "monotonic" would have been the better word to describe you.
