Zumanity seating question

Hey ya'll!

I have a question for those who have been to Zumanity at New York New York.

I was very interested in getting the duo sofa seating for the performance, because it sounds a lot more intimate. However, I've heard reports that the duo sofas are so close to the side of the stage that sometimes you are facing the rear of the action. I guess that could be good too. ;-)

The seat available for the show I want to go are Row Z (the duo sofas near the stage), seats 3-4, or the regular seats Row A, seats 1-2.
For those who have been, what would you suggest?
We sat about 6 rows back and the seats were fine. Don't get the sofa seats unless you don't mind being part of the show.
As with most Cirque shows, the best seats are not the very front rows. Try to get about halfway back at least - I've been to Zumanity twice, both times in section 102 - Row D and Row G. You get a good view of all onstage activity from that area, and you are also able to see the aerial work much better (and much easier) than if you were sitting further forward. And as buff mentioned, the sofa seats do mean you will likely be participating with some of the performers in entertaining the rest of the audience, so keep that in mind if you aren't comfortable being part of the "audience participation" team!
skip it. The worst cirque...go to KA.

It's a matter of opinion, but I don't see how you can say that it's worst Cirque. First of all Criss Angel: Believe is allegedly unwatchable. But I haven't seen it, so I am only going on hearsay.

Second of all, O sucks. Not only is it incredibly boring and self-important, it costs an arm and a leg. I put Zumanity on the same level as KA, and both of them are slightly better than Mystere. Love is easily the best, but that's just my opinion.

My wife likes Zumanity the most with Love and Mystere vying for second. It's all a matter of opinion.
Gotta agree with justbrent - the worst Cirque show IS Believe - and unfortunately I did see it.
Zumanity is just really different and depending how your feelings are about the subject matter, well, for some it's a good show, for others it's horrible. It all depends on your personal level of comfort with seeing different takes on love & sex.

I saw Zumanity last year and really liked it. I was Sec. 203, Row I or J. They were great seats, and think the show is well worth the money. You'll love it...

As for the sofas, you will more than likely be a part of the show, but then again, no one seemed safe at the one I saw...
