So I signed back up for Membership, as I have done for most of the last few years , and what do I see on my receipt...AUTORENEW. When was this ever the default? Still love what you been doing but man....

As you pointed out there is autorenewal for memberships now. It was just recently added to our system as we are continuing to upgrade the site.
Unlike other companies, we offer an easy way to turn off the auto-renewal!
Please follow these steps after you login:
1. Go to 'My Account' (Button in the top left corner)
2. Click the 'My Subscriptions' side tab
3. Click the 'Auto renew' toggle
The toggle should turn grey and then you're done!
Our system is a little slow so it will take up to 5 mins for this to be reflected in your account.
So please refrain from repeatedly turning it on and off.

Maybe...the default should be set to not Auto renew. It was not made clear at sign up.The only reason I knew about it is it mentioned it on the receipt. LVA ,you can do better.
I didn't know that it was turned on, but I'm told it had to be for the programming we're doing. This isn't intended to be permanent for Platinum memberships. There will be an explanation in the July LVA.

Been a member for 15+ years and have had to remind myself to renew. Didn't notice new default "Autorenew", but glad to have it. One less thing to remember.

Life has taught me never sign up for auto-renewal of anything.
I'm getting some auto-renewal spam messages lately (not from LVA).
"Thank you for continuing your membership. Your account will be charged $350 on December 7, 1941.
If you have questions about this, call 1-888-BR549."
Huh? What account? Go away. That's the other "never". Never call a number in a spam message.
