We are hoping to be back in November, fingers crossed. We love the strip, we hit Fremont every few trips just to check it out again. We are getting offers to fly us to Laughlin, I would love to hear about that trip to see if it’s something we want to do!
Our offers are for Harrah's Laughlin, so I assume yours are also? What would you like to know? Free flight is the hook for us. Arrives in Bullhead City AZ, across the Col. River from the Laughlin casino strip, bus transport to and from. Rooms are nice enough, recently remodeled. We usually get a suite, book through our Laughlin Host. You could book through any Harrah's Host if you have one. I'm told some of the remodeled bathrooms have shower only, so I always tell my Host I want a tub! Need to soak after a hard day at the slots and tables! We get a goodie bag with fruit, cookies, chips, granola bars, nuts, and they bring more cookies each night. Not sure if that is due to being on the flight or what. Oh, the suites have coffee pot and small microwave oven. Rooms might have that also.
Nice enough Diamond Lounge. You need 25,000 tier credits to eat free, otherwise $10. Small food bar with soups, salads, chips/dips, cookies, maybe one main food item like wings or something? And of course open bar with as many drinks as you wish (not sure they have any top shelf stuff...so far drinks just OK but I'm sure it depends. Has a nice outside patio overlooking the river, pleasant if you can get a table out there. There is a roped off section of tables inside for 7 Stars only, which decreases the number of tables for everyone else, but we go a little later to avoid the stampede and it works OK. Sometimes we have to wait for a table to open...grrr.
We think their buffet is above average. Usually do breakfast there, occasionally evening if hungry enough. The Range is their upscale restaurant, quite good. Very good service, overlooks the river. There is a food court that has...heck I forget, but at least one burger joint, an ice cream joint, gift shops, etc.
There is an actual non-smoking casino, not just a few roped off machines. Pretty good selection of slots and VP and several tables in there. I learned to play 3 Card Poker and High Card Flush in there last trip...loved the dealers. The regular casino table section gets pretty smoky in the evenings.
There is a "Water Taxi" boat which you can ride up/down the river, stop at any casino along the way. The catch to that is you pay each time you board, but it is pleasant to do at least once. There are also jet ski rentals available.
What else can I tell you? We like it fine, especially getting the flight for free...well, $35.
