Why is Southpoint missing from the 10 Ten and the LVA coupon book?

Because this time around, South Point told LVA to go pound sand.
They're doing so well, they obviously don't feel the need to offer deals. At least the place is overall still a good value.
I agree with Kevin. You can go into South Point any time of the day or night and its packed. Table games, slot machines, video poker, restaurants, etc.
I love the MRB & now that I can go several times per year, I can really take advantage of ot it.
However I believe the number of subscribers is about 15,000, which in the mind of many of these casinos is a number that the casinos think so what.
Perhaps there would be more support if the sub base was larger.

Does the LVA publicly announce how many subscribers they have, or is this just how many you think there are? I ask this honestly. It would be interesting to know how many LVA subscribers there are and how many times the South Point buffet two-fer was redeemed last year, taking into account the "counterfeiting" of the coupon that went on.
If there are 15k subscribers and there were 16k coupon redemptions...this wouldn't have sat well with the South Point, especially since not all 15K subscribers would have even went to the South Point to redeem the coupon.
And to your point, if there were 50k subscribers more of the casinos would be adding coupons, but South Point was probably irked with the copying of their coupon, and said, "That's it, we're not going to contribute to the MRB."
Anthony mentioned that he had about 15,000 subs on his you tube channel.
Southpoint's decision may have been a combination of the place is packed, can't be bothered & coupon duplication
According to Anthony, there's a little more to it...apparently he made a mildly negative comment about Michael Gaughan some twenty years ago, and Gaughan has never forgotten it. So the LVA/SP relationship has pretty much always been strained at best.
It's not likely that SP killed the coupon because of its costs, because they do seem to realize the value of spending money on offering bargains/promos to attract business. And it's unlikely that Gaughan had an attack of the stooopids and forgot that the existence of the LVA coupon meant that several thousand people would be visiting his casino who probably wouldn't have come there otherwise. Lastly, it's unlikely that coupon scamming/duplication really bothered them that much, since even a fraudulent coupon gets people in the door, which is the whole objective--and switching to an online coupon, like with the Palms buffet, squelches fraud right away.
It's basically someone nursing a grudge.

Yes, They are always packed. They do a incredible job marketing their casino. However the video poker has become so bad the regular true gamblers are playing elsewhere.

I haven't seen any downgrade in their video poker, have you?
