With millions of people expected to purchase tickets for the historic lottery, the jackpot may well be even more inflated by the time the drawing kicks of Wednesday night.

In a recent list from Food & Wine naming 27 of the best hamburgers in the U.S., the lone Las Vegas selection was BLT Burger at the Mirage. It's a good one, but we're not quite on board with this as a best choice in this town of amazing burgers (they wouldn't serve it rare when we tried it), but at least Vegas wasn't shut out of the picks.

Then, a couple months later, Taylor broke the news on Twitter that the band was back together, and they've been performing regularly ever since, although she has been billed as a featured performer in recent times, as opposed to being half the act. Now, reports John Katsilometes for Robin Leach's "Luxe Life" blog, Taylor is once again to quit Zowie Bowie, this time for good, it sounds, following Saturday’s 10 p.m. performance at Fremont Street Experience’s 3rd Street Stage. According to one predictor of presidential elections, Mitt Romney will win today's vote. The outcome in the Washington Redskins' final home game before the election is what sets the prediction: If the Redskins win, the incumbent party wins the election; if the Redskins lose, the challenger wins. Last week the Redskins lost 21-13 to the Carolina Panthers, signaling a Romney victory. In the 18 presidential elections since the Redskins moved to Washington, the formula has held true 17 times. The only time it didn't was in 2004, when the Redskins lost and George Bush beat John Kerry.
Although the presidential election is unresolved, Irish bookmaker Paddy Power paid all bets on Barack Obama two days ago. It was another publicity-grabbing move by Paddy, which has done things like this in the past, most famously refunding money to Manny Pacquiao bettors after his controversial boxing loss to Tim Bradley. If Romney wins, they'll have to also pay those tickets while the Obama payments will not be recouped.
As promised, here are the odds on the eve of the presidential election. At the offshore book Pinnacle Sports, Barack Obama is a big -367 favorite, meaning you have to bet $367 to win $100. The "take back" on Mitt Romney is +319.
