Another great response and as always, thanks to everyone who took part. This is a QoD FAQ and although collectively we've eaten a lot of ribs in this town, we can't try 'em all and no one on the current LVA staff claims to be an expert in this department, so we really welcome the feedback from all you BBQ fans.
Our aim is for this new regular poll feature to be a great resource both for us and you, our loyal readers -- there are a couple of hundred thousand of you out there who regularly visit both Las Vegas and LasVegasAdvisor.com, so consider this a new forum where you can air your opinions and share experiences with other Vegas fans and aficionados.
Interestingly, Austin's Salt Lick (with venues at Red Rock and Santa Fe Station) came out as the clear winner in this poll, with a 9% advantage over Lucille's Smokehouse out at The District, which garnered 14% of the vote. Memphis Championship BBQ, Famous Dave's, and Big Mama's Rib Shack followed close on the heels, with IP's Fireside also deserving an honorable mention.
As far as the "other" votes are concerned, Ellis Island was the most popular choice (3% of the total votes) for quality and price, while Tona Roma's, Dan Marino's (Hooters), Toby Keith's (Harrah's), Texas Station, Buckhingham's Smokehouse (N. Rainbow), and Sam Woo's (chinese-style) all rated, too.
Thanks again and if you're a poker player, remember to cast your vote in this week's poll about which Vegas poker room offers the best comps.
