Analysis
A great response, which yielded a lot of interesting data for us, so the usual grateful thanks to everyone who participated.
For all those who expressed an interest in learning more or honing their game, our Kill Phil title is acknowledged as a really powerful and accessible tool for giving novices an entry into the world of No-Limit Texas Hold 'em tournaments, while Kill Everyone is a highly acclaimed weapon for more advanced players. Both are now in udpated and expanded 2nd editions. Power Hold 'em Strategy by Daniel Negreanu is not one of the titles we publish, but it's a power-packed book on beating cash games from the well-known player and is available from our online store.
As far as the winning option is concerned, that's something we've been considering introducing to LasVegasAdvisor.com for a while, now. It's still early days, but it's great to know that so many of you would be interested in playing for free on our site and we'll bear that in mind in upcoming planning sessions.
Meanwhile, if you're thinking of dipping a toe in the water in Vegas, check out our Tournament listings (choose "poker" and "mini" for recurring events) and the Poker room listings in the "Gambling Advisor" section on this site. You'll find information about limits (there are plenty of small games in town) and other players' ratings and comments, which you might find useful.
Thanks again, and a very happy 4th of July to everyone.
