Analysis
The response to this poll was phenomenal. Thanks to all of you for sharing your tips and secrets, sometimes at the risk of ruining a "hidden gem" for yourself. You certainly rose to the occasion and blew us away with your response, with eclectic and imaginative suggestions, more than a few of which we now have to go try out for ourselves.
One reader (who voted for the half-pound 99-cent hot dog at Slots A Fun ) went on to comment, "Man, there are some really intriguing ideas on your list but I don't know what a lot of them mean. Will you be publishing links to them after the poll closes?" The answer is yes, but we don't have the space to do that here, nor to do justice to all the amazing emails you sent us. So, for now, check out the winners (there are no losers : ) and then stay tuned for our big follow-up, which will come in the form of some imminent QoDs that will give the lowdown on some of the more obscure of our suggestions, plus the best of your suggestions, broken down into categories.
