I signed up for LVA just to get the coupon book – the newsletter might be a bonus, but primarily I’m interested in the savings you get with the Member Rewards Book and would renew just for that.

I can't choose: I subscribe to LVA for the newsletter, the coupons, and the forums. It's the whole package!

I subscribe primarily for the monthly newsletter: I have the hard copy mailed to me every month and it keeps me in touch with my favorite city and gives me the scoop on bargains and ideas for new experiences on my next trip. The coupons are cool but secondary to the info.

The newsletter, which I subscribe to in the online-only version – it’s cheaper and I get the same great information without having to wait on the mail or kill another tree.

I would never consider joining LVA. I visit the site for free information but would never pay for any aspect of this, however much time and money it might save me. If it ain’t free, I'm not interested.

The most important thing to me is the member-only message boards. For me, it’s worth paying the annual subscription to have access to those exclusive forums.

I didn’t even know you had a membership program. I just come to the website for information but I’d be interested to learn if there’s another service/dimension that I’m missing out on.

Analysis

First and foremost, we'd like to extend our thanks and appreciation to all of you who are current subscribers, without whom none of the online and print services we offer would be available to anyone else, either. We're very much aware of our loyal following, which continues to grow, and appreciate your continued support, encouragement, gratitude, and the information and tips that you share with us.

The positive feedback and unsolicited thanks in our mailbox always far outweighs the complaints and negativity. And don't get us wrong, we're always grateful to hear about errors or to receive constructive criticism and tips that help us to improve our products and services.

We totally sympathize with all of you who cited economic factors for not subscribing right now, whether because the cost itself is too high (although we haven't raised the price in decade and a half and feel that at $3/month, membership's pretty darned good value), or because you're having to cut back on your trips and Las Vegas just isn't in your travel plans right now. Fair enough. We look forward to welcoming you back if/when things perk up financially.

To all who gave feedback on the different aspects of LVA that you value, this has also given us valuable food for thought, so thanks again for all that.

As to that 77 people (5% of respondents) who would never consider contributing toward the upkeep of this site, all we can say is be thankful for those who do. We are.
