| Yes, of course! I always buy at least one ticket. The odds may be against me, but it’s fun to dream for a few minutes and who knows? Someone has to get lucky… |

| Yes. I don’t usually play the lottery, but it’s fun to be part of a historic event like this and that’s worth a small outlay, no matter how long the odds are of winning. |
| No. No matter how high that jackpot gets, the lottery is still a sucker bet and I’d never buy a ticket. |
| No. The lottery isn’t legal where I live and I’m not driving across state lines to buy a ticket. |
| Yes. I bought a whole bunch of tickets! You never know... |
| No. I used to play the lottery, but since they raised the ticket price, I stopped. Even though it’s just $2, that crossed my threshold for throwaway-money fun. It’s the principle of the thing. |

Analysis
Well, well, this one was a surprise. Not as big of a surprise as it was to the couple from Missouri and the guy from Arizona who actually hit the winning numbers, but we were surprised at how many of our readers played that lottery. Apparently, the two winners spent just $10 each on tickets, and neither bothered to check their numbers until the following day.
