Poll : 21 May - 03 June 2014

Q:
The city that brought you the notorious "What Happens Here, Stays Here" slogan is also home to some wittily-named Vegas-appropriate business enterprises. Vote for your favorite, or suggest one we don't know about. Why? Why not?!

Analysis

And, ladies and gentlemen, the results are in and the winner is: Pink Taco! We were unsure what image to pick for the thumbnail icon, but demurred from seeking inspiration from ToplessVegasOnline.com, you'll be relieved to hear.

In terms of feedback, here are the other suggestions you sent in:

  • "It's not exactly witty, but I'm a big fan of Budget Budget Suites, when the simple Budget Suites is just too pricey. If your name's not Rockefeller and $30/night is way too much, head about four miles south of the Strip on LV Blvd."

  • "When we were looking for a bug exterminator 10 years ago when we were buying our townhome, we found this one: buda PEST." [Ed: Sadly, no longer seems to be in business, as with some of the other extinct ones we found where the business evidently couldn't live up to its name.]

  • "I drive by this place on my way to work and I smile at the name every morning. It's a women's hair removal waxing salon called "Pretty Kitty" in Henderson."

  • "Road Kill Grill Fabulous BBQ."

  • "How about "Royal Flush", a plumbing company?" [Ed: Funny you should mention. I happened to need a plumber when this poll was running and co-worker coincidentally recommended these guys. I called, left a message, and never heard back...]

  • "My vote is for (if I'm remembering correctly) -- it was a restaurant that may have closed down (or if not it should be -- I think that I previously read about it) a Vegan restaurant called 'Las Vegans!'" [Ed: LOL. No longer in business, however.]
