Analysis

'We ran a similar survey back in July, 2010 and, while there was no surprise in a repeat landslide victory for the Stardust, or the recurrence of the Westward Ho in the #2 spot, there were some interesting changes elsewhere in the results, not least since the passage of time has seen some major players join the ranks of the departed, including not just the Riviera, but also the Sahara, the Las Vegas Hilton, and Bill's Gamblin' Hall & Saloon.

As usual, we received metaphorical bagfuls of (e)mail feedback and there were too many great recollections to do justice to in the limited space available here, so we're going to run your thoughts and reminiscences about those options we listed, and a few we missed out, as a Question of the Day follow up next week. Stay tuned! And if you didn't vote in this poll, but would like to share a memory, feel free to email us over the weekend and we'll keep adding to the QoD!
