Q:
Do you know about our collection of free email newsletters you can sign up for (http://bit.ly/LVAnewsletters)? Each one's tailored to a specific interest group and we only want to send you info and offers that you're interested in. Right now, we're looking to upgrade the program and welcome your feedback, so check as many of these options as apply.

| I’m signed up for Question of the Day and I look forward to that email every day! |
| I didn’t know you had any email newsletters. Where are you hiding them?! I’d like to sign up for more good info on areas I’m interested in. |
| I’d be interested in learning about any kind of Las Vegas special offers, especially exclusive LVA deals, but where do I sign up to get in the program and is it really free? |
| I used to receive emails from you and I looked forward to them, but they stopped and I don’t know why. How do I get back on the list(s)? |
| I’m a Vegas-area local. Do you have anything specifically of interest to me? |
| Call me cynical, but I’m wary of anything that purports to be free, especially online, plus I’m afraid to open most emails for fear of picking up some spyware or virus from a bogus source masquerading as a legit business I like, so I don’t sign up for anything anymore. |
| If you had a newsletter I could sign up for that was specifically about "XXXXXX" (dining? upcoming events? current casino special offers? please fill in the blank and email us what it is you think is missing from our newsletter list). |
| I was signed up for the LVA Gold emails, but they just seemed to be the same stuff all the time and no better than offers I can find online, so I lost interest and opted out. |
| I am signed up for one or more of your emails, but never seem to hear from you! What gives? |
| Other -- please send us additional requests/suggestions/ideas, and complaints -- it’s okay, we can handle it and we’re all ears! |
| I used to be signed up for "xxxxxx" (please fill in the blank) but I unsubscribed because you were sending me too many emails and my ’in’ box is already out of control. |
| I signed up for one or more of your newsletter lists, but I found you sent me stuff that I never asked for and wasn’t interested in, so I hit the ’spam’ button and you lost me. |

Analysis
We're gratified that so many people still tune in to, and enjoy, Question of the Day -- thanks to all of you! We're also not surprised to learn that many readers weren't aware of the other email notifications that you can sign up for. It's all free info, with different emails targeted toward different interest groups, be you a Las Vegas local, or a potential customer looking for new products or discounts from our online store (ShopLVA.com), or someone who's on the hunt for latest best hotel, show, or dining deals, or a poker player or sports bettor. If you sign up for our mailing lists, you can customize your profile to ensure that you receive only those updates that interest you, so if you're not already signed up, or you are, but need to update your profile and details, you can do all that right here! Meanwhile, here's some of your feedback:
- "I'd like to see a list of the email newsletters available. Is it on your home page? In general, I find information from you to be accurate and timely. I have saved a lot of money and also attended events I did not know about since I have been a member. Keep up the good work!" [Ed: Thanks! We'll keep doing our best!]
- "Do the emails you mention refer to items NOT available on the LVA web site? I visit the site nearly every day and can find the newest information you've posted in just a few minutes, unless you have something else that you are squirreling away just for the email recipients." [Ed: Yes, indeed! Happy to hear you check out Today's News, as a lot of QoD readers still seem to be oblivious to this informative feature, but on top of that we do also send out timely newsletters/email alerts for people who've expressed an interest in more specific topics. Take a look, via the link above, and sign up if something takes your fancy. We don't send out more than once a week (absolute max.) to any of those interest groups, aside from Qu. of the Day, and anytime you get bored of something, just update your profile by un-checking the boxes you no longer care about.]
- "Would love to know about short-term casino promotions from Primm to N. L.V., just in case we manage to find the time to go for a special deal. Las Vegas is 6 hours away, so a killer package might bring us running for a few days of escapism." [Ed: For you, we'd absolutely recommend signing up for the FREE LVA Gold newsletter, which will send you regular updates on the best hotel deals in the vicinity. Parlay that with the monthly newsletter, which comes as part of an annual LVA membership (just $37), where you'll find all kinds of timely info about the great deals Anthony and our associates and scouts have found.
- "Big fan of all the info LVA provides us. Being a frequent visitor my main areas of interest are hotel, dining, and entertainment deals. Both frugal and upscale on the same trip, always like to know about the pricey joints as well as good inexpensive places to eat."
- "Would like to see more on restaurants and shopping away from downtown and the Strip!" [Ed: Duly noted! Bookmarking this link to our section for Deals on restaurants, spas, and more, on and away from the Strip, might be a good place to start :-) ]
- "I'd be interested in a newsletter that focused on savings to be had in Vegas, whether it's a temporary promotion or a regular thing like a good graveshift special or where to find good coupons. It doesn't have to be restaurants. Room deals or show discounts would be great. What would REALLY be great is if you could share some deals for the solo traveler for whom those two-fer deals are no good."
- "A newsletter on dining would be awesome. I don't gamble much but boy, do I eat. Love to hit the celebrity chefs when I can. A newsletter about deals or openings would be awesome." [Ed: Duly noted! And soon, we hope to confirm the return of our annual Eating Las Vegas restaurant guide, which we're really excited about.]
