Poll : 20 March - 02 April 2025

Q:

Which players club is the best?

This is a Question of the Day submission that we could only turn into a poll, a simple popularity contest based on purely subjective impressions. After all, there are, by our count, 33 players clubs in Las Vegas. We don't know the ins and outs of all of them and even if we did, our priorities are different than visitors' and, for that matter, other locals.

Still, the results will provide a certain amount of information, though not all, and you can explain your vote in the comments for everyone's benefit.

Since we're looking for the one best players club, you get one vote only.

Results will be posted in a couple of weeks.

And thanks to everyone for the feedback in the poll preview last week.

Analysis

Is Caesars' players club the best? Maybe. We wouldn't have predicted it and only a couple of comments might explain it, though those are from loyal members who are treated quite well. Also, with dozens of casinos all over the country, Caesars has certainly achieved a certain critical mass.

Could be the same with MGM Resorts at number four. With only one positive comment (and one somewhat negative), its ranking is perhaps a reflection of the number of casinos in Las Vegas, with another handful around the country.

The All Access Club at the Four Queens and Binion's is a perennial favorite and for good reason. Excellent video poker, cashback, free play, and comps will attract knowledgeable players every time. It's also instructive that the All Access, representing two old-time joints downtown, garnered a mere three votes less than colossal Caesars and seven votes more than mighty MGM.

Likewise, South Point is no surprise at number three. It's known for easy comps, great food, and lots of it. Frequent promotions don't hurt. On any given day, the place is jammed with locals, which tells most of the tale.

Club One (Circa, et al.) tied with None of the Above to round out the top five (with the tie at fifth). That says something for downtown, with five casinos topping this poll, as well as for the perception that comps in Las Vegas aren't as easy to come by as they used to be. The seven votes for Emerald Island and Rainbow are more reflective of the trek from the tourist corridor than the fine benefits available at those casinos and the five votes for Club Soda show that at least a few LVA readers have as silly a sense of humor as we do.

Good food comps, show tickets even for mid level players.

    DTG
This was a tough one as there are a number downtown that I like. I'm choosing DTG for the breadth of perks they offer which I combine with the Members Rewards offers.

    Plaza
We make it to Vegas once or twice a year. Plaza has taken great care of us since the pandemic. As mid tear players can't ask for much more. Gret location, games, and food choices.

    Time for a new place
I generally only go to Caesars or MGM because I live near A/C. However both Rewards programs have gotten worse along with game odds. So I am starting to branch out. This will help choose new places

    only locals
I have not been able to go to Las Vegas since the pandemic, but all the locals see to have their own cards, except for Ceasars. Always try to get cards and use them at any casino visit. Did get a laugh when I looked at the list and saw "Club Soda". Always keep your sense of humor.

    What the El
This a guy whose play is sporadic and inconsistent. I have to pick the Club Cortez if only because of the airline promotion. All access would be next, as we play almost exclusively nickel VP @ the four queens.

    Caesars Rewards
Since my host treats me so well, and everything is always comped out for me, I have to go with Caesars. I belong to other rewards clubs, but they do not come close to the generosity of my host, no matter how much I play. My relationship with my host goes back over 10 years.

Been a loyal MGM rewards member for the last 17 years. I only stay at MGM properties and eat at only MGM restaurants. Also have the MGM Rewards credit card, which has some nice perks as well.

    Ellis Island
For such a small place they always seem to offer the most ! Steak dinner is a top ten, beer is good, and lots of easy to earn rewards with their players club. We always pay them a visit on every trip and ZERO bad experiences. Always hopping !

  • Richard Weber Mar-28-2025

Cash back plus comps that can be used for food gift shop and rooms

  • Satincat Mar-28-2025
    Free Rooms
I have been a member of Caesars rewards for about 7 years.I like it because even though I'm a middle level players, I receive free rooms 2 out of 33 stays in Las Vegas.

    Club One
We started going when Fitzgerald's was converted to theD in 2012. On our very first trip I got a Royal on VP and a host come up and asked me if I wanted a host. At the time my husband and I were low to mid level players. The next trip out our rooms were comped and free food/entertainment provided. To us that was unheard of. We have been loyal customers ever since and still love the high paybacks on VP machines at the bars and the comps we earn and get. We go to other downtown casinos but none have ever been as inviting as theD. Now it includes Circa which is a fantastic resort which we can go an eat at their wonderful restaurants even though most of our gambling is at theD or Golden Gate. We do miss Dupars at the Golden Gate though.

Most will NOT agree with this, but Stations works for us. For our visits, we're most comfortable Off Strip. Free Parking and Comp'd Rooms with Reward Points paying for food goes a long way. But Anthony is right, Stations is getting "tighter" each year and the "rewards" are not as good as they used to be.

  • Paul Palonsky Mar-28-2025
    South Point
Good food and frequent promotions including weekly free play.

  • Kevin Lewis Mar-29-2025
    Emerald Island and Rainbow
Off most people's radar, understandably, but definitely the best. All sorts of goodies every month, even for low low rollers. Very generous point earning and bonuses, plus cash back, lots and lots and lots of free food, etc. etc. Generous rewards just for signing up.

    Caesars????
      What a joke.

  • O2bnVegas Apr-18-2025
    was my comment tossed?
Mine may have been the one positive for MGM, almost a tie with Caesars, simply because of both's air programs with free flights, free rooms, Free Play, other perks to many properties (EXCEPT to Las Vegas, which is understandable. They don't need to lure low to mid players to Las Vegas, unfortunately). If 4 Queens, Binions, or South Point have such programs that is news to me.

I live mid USA, a far distance to most and only two casinos in the whole state, so the free flights are a real bonus. I'm pretty sure that properties like Beau Rivage (MGM, Biloxi MS), Caesars AC, and most definately Harrah's Laughlin depend on these air programs to bring players. To each his own, and these programs work well for us for those reasons.

  • SCOTT Apr-18-2025
    Not Caesars
Agree with Dave Miller on Caesars. My wife and I are locals and have been diamond plus for years, which included 4 drinks for each of us daily, value up to $25 per drink. Out of the blue, Caesars dropped that perk for diamond plus, now it's only for 7 star. We don't have the bankroll for 7 star, so now instead of both of us playing a good chunk of money to get to diamond plus, just one of us will play just enough to get to platinum for the parking. We will take the rest of out bankroll elsewhere.

    Depends
Doesn’t it depend on how you gamble? I first went to Vegas in 1995 and 4Qs and (basically the end) of the horseshoe were good for BJ players. Now they’re horrible! I guess if what you do is slots or VP then it’s ok. I’m 99% a BJ player and the Wynn treats me very good as does mlife.

  • Raymond Apr-18-2025
    The surprise to me...
...is how low Stations ranked. For as many locations as they have and for all their image as a "locals" place, that's very few votes.

  • Michael B Apr-18-2025
    BJ Players
Tagging on to John's comment, Does anyone have suggestions on what clubs offer decent comps to blackjack players? I really haven't found a good one yet. Seems slots are king when it comes to comps. I wouldn't have thought Wynn but may have to give it a try but I am rarely at $25 player.
