This poll was suggested by long-time LVAer Toni A. She writes, "Not that we have any control over it! But I'm genuinely curious what LVA regulars would like to see built on the site that's now Fontainebleau. And not just good ideas, but what would inspire LVA readers to make a concerted effort to go there and patronize if it were to be built?"
As you'll see, the selections are predicated on two general options: 1) Finishing F-blue; and 2) tearing down/imploding the abandoned hulk, which might be necessary if it's unsalvageable after nearly 15 years sitting in the elements, and starting all over.
As for what and where the Fontainebleau is (posed by Sandra Ritter in the comments), it's the abandoned high-rise tower between the Sahara and the Convention Center expansion on the north Strip. It was around 70% completed when construction was stopped in 2008 and never restarted. You can read the whole convoluted history of the project here (Part 1) and here (Part 2).
The question you're voting on is, What kind of property could be built on the current site of the Fontainebleau and the former site of Wet 'n Wild that you would definitely visit and patronize?

Well, you can tell what's on LVAers minds by the results of this poll.
Most, ourselves included, would like to see the damn thing finished. For better or worse, Fontainebleau has become part of the Strip skyline and for it to actually open would be a major triumph over adversity.
Then again, it could open as the new Stardust, which is an indication of how attached most of us are to the memory of the old one.
The who-cares crowd made a surprisingly strong showing in this poll, though we suspect if we included that option in all the polls, it would rank similarly high.
Anything having to do with avoiding paid parking can always be counted on to get a lot of votes.
And the world's largest brothel is, not surprisingly, the highest vote-getter of the nearly three-dozen oddball choices that follow it.
