Q:
As noted in the preview last week, this poll was suggested by Steve W., who was inspired by a comment about the Buccaneer Bay Club -- and the detheming of Treasure Island -- to the recent QoD about the pirate restaurant in the movie Leaving Las Vegas.
Steve writes, "What was/is/will be the biggest nail in Las Vegas' coffin? De-mobbing, de-theming, family friendly, bottle service, reduced blackjack, video poker, etc. odds, resort/parking/anything-they-can-think-of-and-more fees, online gambling and sports betting, every state having casinos, zero buffets? And what else? All the gripes in one place!"
And boy oh boy, do you have gripes! Our list, which was already pretty inclusive, got a lot longer with suggestions from the preview. It's alphabetized, which might help in wading through the 40 choices.
Have at it! Choose as many as you like and comments always welcome.

Analysis
Resort fees are the most despised weapon in Las Vegas' hotel-casino money-sucking arsenal. No surprise there.
Meanwhile, the rest of the top five potential nails in Sin City's coffin are also symptoms of the Gouge Syndrome.
Crime, of course, has been a major problem since the reopening of the casinos last June, but nine of the top ten nails can be summed up by the seventh highest vote-getter: corporate greed.
It all, of course, adds up to a growing sentiment, especially among customers who remember the good old days, that "it just ain't Vegas anymore."
It's also highly interesting to us that 28 out of the other 28 reasons don't have to do with the Gouge. And if that's not indicative of the prevailing sentiment of the Vegasphiles who frequent LVA.com and participate in our polls -- to say nothing of more than 6,000 votes for this one -- we don't know what is.
