    It's a QOD, Kevin

    The Tillerman
Miss The Tillerman. I know the building is still there, but the restaurant is gone. Would it have made the Top 10? Great spot.

    Vegas site
Kevin, notice the name of this website - it is not a "gambling" site, but a "Las Vegas" site. And Brad and I are planning to live long enough to claim the title of "Oldest Casino Gambler." We are well on our way - albeit limping a bit on our way!

    Not a particularly useful QOD
Candy, I DO "have a little respect." Just not much more than that :) But the question doesn't have a lot of practical value and really could only be answered by informed speculation anyway, unless someone actually went down to the courthouse and scoured business licenses given out during the last 70+ years. Also, if a restaurant changed names but continued operating, would it qualify for the top ten, above--and would anybody trying to research it even know? What if the Scorched Goose opened in 1992 but it used to be called the Fried Duck before it changed hands and had been in continuous operation since 1645? Would anyone even be able to find that out? And would it count if a restaurant had changed locations? Meaningless QOD, as it's a practical impossibility to answer accurately.
