Question of the Day - 26 May 2004

Q:
What exactly is an ultra lounge?
A:

No one seems to know precisely. An ultra lounge appears to be a high-end club that may or may not have dancing, but underplays it if it does. By that definition, Las Vegas ultra lounges include: Tabu (MGM Grand), Tryst (Wynn), Mist (TI), Tempo (Las Vegas Hilton), V Bar (Venetian), Whiskey Bar (Green Valley Ranch), Revolution (Mirage), Pussycat Dolls Lounge (Caesars Palace), Noir Bar (Luxor), Head Candy (Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood), and Mix (THE Hotel at Mandalay Bay. One thing’s certain: The drinks are expensive.
