The most recent plan was for Planet Hollywood to take over the Aladdin in June, but it looks like that will come and go with no action. The intensive Nevada Gaming Control Board investigation required for licensing the new owners is taking longer than expected. The licensing hearing could take place this summer, according to a Control Board spokesman, after which the regulators would need to approve the license. The earliest the Aladdin could change hands is August. At that time, the name will be changed to Planet Hollywood.
