Question of the Day - 06 June 2004

Q:
I lost a winning sports book ticket. Do I have any recourse for getting it cashed?
A:

Surprisingly, yes, assuming that your ticket wasn’t picked up and cashed by someone else. Go to the sports book and fill out a Lost Ticket Form. If you can recall enough vital information -- who you bet, for how much, approximately when -- the book will be able to find your wager in the computer. After a wait period, usually 30 days, go back to see if the ticket has been cashed. If it hasn’t, you'll be paid.

I saw some famous people at The Palms once, but no one believes me because cameras were discouraged. :(
