Question of the Day - 12 June 2004

Q:
I would like to visit the Neon Graveyard the next time I visit. Can you tell me where it is located?
A:

The "neon graveyard" was the final resting place for old signs in back of the big Young Electric Sign Company (YESCO) manufacturing facility on Cameron Avenue near West Tropicana. It's long gone, but even when it was there, it wasn't accessible to the public. A few of the signs from the graveyard have been resurrected for the outdoor Neon Museum along the Fremont corridor in downtown Las Vegas.
