From everything we've heard and seen over the years, it appears that the answer to this age-old question is no. (It's too bad they don't, actually. If you've ever been to an oxygen bar, you'll know that a little extra 02 would do everyone some good.)
However, it's been confirmed that casinos have pumped scents into the air to stimulate the gambling impulse. Several casino bosses have admitted to experimenting with this take-off on "aromatherapy," though none has explained what smells they've used or how they're supposed to work.
One thing you'll notice immediately, esecially at this time of year, is that the casinos crank up the air-conditioning in order to crank down the ambient temperature in an effort to ... well, we're not sure what. Play faster to keep warm? Get those last few bets in before succumbing to hypothermia? All we know is that many casino-savvy people wear long shirts and pants, and carry sweaters into the casino, in the height of the summer heat, so that they don't turn into icicles in July.
