Question of the Day - 20 September 2004

Q:
We're having a family reunion in Las Vegas in late October. There'll be about 18 of us. We'll generally eat at the buffets, coffee shops, and fast-food courts, but we'd like to eat one fancy dinner all together. What do you suggest for group dining in an upscale restaurant on the Strip?
A:

We called around to 22 fancy restaurants and asked. Some have private or semi-private rooms. A few allow you to order off the regular menu, but most have pre-set group menus with three to six entree choices. Prices range from $16 at Tsunami at the Venetian to $100+ at the Eiffel Tower restaurant at Paris, per person.
